FAQ

What does The Feral perk do?
The official hero page gives one additional Mult for each six in an attack. This is tied to the attack, not simply to owning a die that can roll six.
Was The Feral playable in the demo?
The official FAQ identifies her as the third demo hero, unlocked as you play. The inspected sources do not establish an exact current unlock condition.
Is chasing sixes always the best move?
No. A different selection can produce a better combo or trigger stronger item effects. Compare the complete attack and survival requirement rather than the face count alone.

How does The Feral turn sixes into a build?

The Feral adds Mult for sixes in an attack, so a six can contribute both its ordinary face value and a hero-specific benefit. That does not make every six-chasing decision worthwhile. The combo, item conditions and resources you give up still determine the useful result.

The official hero reference lists:

Starting property Published value
Maximum health 150
Gold 200
Perk Adds 1 Mult for each 6 in an attack
Starting item Claymore

Claymore is named as a starting item, but the inspected public item selection does not establish its complete current effect. This guide does not fill that gap with a guessed bonus.

What does one more six do to the score?

One more qualifying six adds one Mult under the published perk. To understand its value, hold other inputs constant first, then check whether your real selection also changes the combo or an item trigger. An isolated calculation explains the perk without pretending to reproduce every combat interaction.

Assume an attack already has a points subtotal of 40 and Mult 2 before applying Feral’s bonus:

Qualifying sixes in the attack Mult after the isolated perk Ordinary score
None 2 80
One 3 120
Two 4 160

These are chosen example inputs, not her fixed starting attack. Real dice selections also change Dice Points and possibly Combo Points. For complete arithmetic, use damage calculation and the calculator.

An equipped item can add another condition. The official item selection lists Zweihander as rewarding six faces with Dice Points; it does not mean every Feral run automatically owns that item.

Should you reroll everything until you get sixes?

Keep the current result in view before rerolling. A missing six is only one possible improvement, while losing an existing combo or useful special-die activation can make the overall attack worse. Evaluate the result you need this turn, then decide what you are willing to change.

A practical comparison:

  1. Read the current attack’s subtotal and Mult.
  2. Count the sixes actually included in that attack.
  3. Check the combo and equipped item conditions.
  4. Compare the alternative’s complete score.
  5. Preserve enough resources for the enemy response if the roll does not improve.

The dice types guide covers why damage, defense, healing and gold solve different problems. A six-focused perk does not remove those trade-offs.

What does Die of 6 change?

The October 23 demo update describes a die that only has sixes, giving a clear face restriction to consider alongside Feral’s perk. That published restriction does not establish how every special effect can be combined with it, whether a given run offers it or its exact acquisition cost.

Treat it as a named option to check in the relevant version, not a guaranteed step in a build order. The same update also names Low Die, High Die and Die of 1. Those additions are tracked separately from the seven-effect reference in the dice guide.

How do you unlock The Feral?

Her inclusion as an unlockable demo hero is confirmed; an exact unlock recipe is not verified in the inspected official sources. This page therefore cannot promise that a particular roll, number of wins or boss kill unlocks her in your installed version.

The official FAQ names the three demo heroes. The full roster and unlock-status reference distinguishes that fact from the five unresolved unlock conditions. Follow an explicit requirement in your current game if one is shown, and include its version when reporting a problem.

Which starting hero should you use while Feral is locked?

Use one of the two confirmed initial heroes to learn the resource decision you currently struggle with. The Huntress teaches unused-reroll preservation, while The Beast exposes the health cost of extra attempts. Neither choice requires an unverified unlock to start learning the dice system.

Compare The Huntress with The Beast. Recheck this guide after the planned November 30 release before treating the October snapshot as current balance.
